The auctions are much more volatile than they used to be. The top 22c bidder managed to buy about 4000 units, and it looked like the auction algo had trouble controlling the price to push/pull it down for a change. Maybe they have improved the algo to make it harder for the cheeky monkeys (who are not plugged in to the ASX) to work out if they will be able to bid at 22.5c for a 22c fill or not.
