Bear in mind it was a modest increase in bad debts that caused BOQ SP to almost halve in price within 3 months... followed by a CR. Banks can do almost nothing to avoid the results of loans already made. Look at NAB. CEO has finally come out and said the UK investments are 'unsaleable'. They'll drag NAB down for years to come.
