it would be the shale/silt section which collapsed, not reservoir. Here's why:
They cased within 199m of bottom hole.
115m of the bottom hole is sandstone reservoir, therefore;
They were only able to case 46m of the 130m shale and silt sequence, leaving 84m uncased. This is where the well diameter is constricted (hence attempt to ream), and decision to install narrower diameter slotted liner.
