I dont believe the election will delay the TOL. It has already been issued and the sole hold-up now is due to the judiciary, not the executive. I am not one to believe that the judicary is in the pockets of the executive in Malaysia. There are plenty of Court decisions there that go against the government.Having said that if the Opposition came into power (heaven forbid), I am certain they would undertake a review and possobly seek to secure some tax from Lynas. I dont think they will come to power, but assuming we are operating, as soon as the election is called it will cast a dark shadow over our SP, given the uncertainty that wuill ensue. Note that Lynas is not and is unlikely to be a major election issue, but the prospects of the Opposition coming to power with their oft-repeated position on Lynas will be hanging over us.
