Rastus2, agree 100% re the water quality, it was my chief concern also and i have to admit i didn't really grasp that until it was raised on here (perhaps by you Rastus2?).

I have taken the liberty of borrowing a few images and comments from a public forum (Lynas FB)to address a few issues that have arisen in this thread.

Recently, vowing that they will not stop until the LAMP is scrapped, a group of frustrated mothers handed over a memorandum addressed to Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak, voicing their disappointment over the Atomic Energy Licensing Board (AELB) and the Minister of Science, Technology and Innovations for failing in their public duty of care to exercise prudence to protect their children.

The group of concerned mothers said that they had worked hard to create a comfortable living for their families and dreaded the fact that "a foreign company was about to dump toxic waste in their backyard".

Tomorrow should see them exposed yet again for lacking any substance whatsoever. yes they may have some legitimate fears but they are ill placed in my view. Sometimes you have to move with the times SMSL.
