    Re your post which included;
    "... He has more charisma, character, and intelligence, and tonnes of good common sense, he has no need to go down to their level, to prove anything.
    He is too much of a gentleman, and has far too much decorum, to go wallowing in the dirt. ...'

    You forgot athletic, sexy and visionary ... just kidding; I know how slow his running times are, how revolting he looks in budgie smugglers and his pre-occupation with becoming PM right now.

    You see, 60% of mainstream Australians disagree with your assertions and after 3 years of putting up with Tony Abbott in their face are dissatisfied with his performance.

    Now when it comes to charisma; Gough Whitlam had it by the bucket load! Of the current crop of pollies that title clearly belongs with Malcolm Turnbull.

    For character ... university days, noddies and media storm offs; ho, ho, ho; do not pass Go!

    Intelligence has to go to Rudd - with an IQ of 134 no less! At this level Rhodes scholars are a dime a dozen and Abbott appears to have NO idea as to how to apply all that education!

    Common sense was of course Bob Hawke and Abbott certainly ain't NO Hawkey [he said Abbott was like a cut snake].

    A gentleman and decorum probably belongs with Robert Menzies; abusing parliamentary protocols alone rules Abbott out yet again, then there are the judgements Julia Gillard's speech revealed about sexism and misogyny.

    So there it is; Abbott is the one with NO charisma and overall, NO appeal to mainstream Australians.
