Yes longshott, it does seem a bit contradictory to not follow mgmt blindly into voting yes but blindly trust mgmt to have a plan b. What if there is no plan b?
Pickmeamonkey, who was the company that supported PLV when SS&T& and the Austrslian based entity did not? It does not seem many suitors were lining up. Who was providing loans and organising the initial off take agreements and loans against it? WEG had no obligation to PLV as it is a minority partner. But they had plenty to gain. However if what WEG had to gain was ridiculous why did the Australian based entity not partner with plv for cockatoo? So in the end, did WEG not prove their worth? Or do you hold WEG responsible for PLVs share decimation. If you recall the facts did we that to ourselves. I repeat WEG became involved when PLV were in the low to sub 30s. They were not responsible for the pfs and poor results at Irvine. They purchased tranches for 35.5 cents. And we know the rest of the story. Given plv's funding issues and lack of further interest, how can we say that WEG was not critical for cockatoo acquisition?
My issue is what is the contingencies for a potential backlash from WEG? Have we got an alternative partner waiting in the wings? How about for funding requirements short to medium term? What if we need to go back to WEG, what will any new deal be?
