Don't think i've ever seen so much indecision and debate about PLV and its associates/deals.

Good solid arguments for both votes.

This is reminding me a little of a company I was invested in a few years back.
'Experts' with strong connections to people who mattered were enlisted and backed heavily based on the promise of them delivering great deals for the company.

The result? NO THING. Big statements. No delivery. We need to beware of such people.

The Timeone/WEG associates seem to be relying on their associates to come up with the $$$$

In other words they themselves don't have the $$$$.

Thats a BIG risk isn't it?

Cockatoo 100% holding a risk for PLV?..if it fails it fails. 50% or 100%

I keep hearing the words here that say PLV is a high risk spec stock...
Can't have it both ways can you?

We need to look at results. The end result was that the $$$$ FINALLY came in. Not before it ruined the share price though. Mission accomplished for now?

Timeone did PLV a favour with 35.5 cents with the FAIR BUT NOT REASONABLE deal? Track the share price just a few weeks prior to that deal.
It went freefall.

Let me DEMONSTRATE the facts for you in a little share price history lesson for those who 'forgot' (and I won't add the placement times...or the detail)

18 April 2011 PLV was 92 cents

30 May 77 cents

just a few short days later..

6 June 36.5 cents!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SMASHED AND HALVED!!!

Timeone did us a favour eh? Helped us out at 35.5 did they?
They got a great deal then proceeded to fail to deliver and crippled sentiment and the share price even further. They destroyed PLV and the average investor that didn't see it coming....how could you see that?

Trust with WEG an issue? You bet it is. Couldn't scrape up a few million early in the piece but in the 11th hour came up trumps with multiples of that after PLV went to the wall. Just got lucky huh?
Pocket money finally come in?

What happened was a disaster and nobody seems to think its important or relevant...so when 'some' here mention 35.5 cents and Timeone being saviours do your homework first...

Sounds to me like PLV are betting VERY heavily on the Chinese way here and the hope that the importance of relationships (heard me say that word a few times;)will bring home the bacon.
Well i'm not sure the Chinese are as dependable as the Mayala...and relationships are only good if there is trust associated with them.

Sounds like high risky business to me - but i'll maintain that PLV know exactly what they are doing and why they are doing it.
In fact from afar I think I get it.

I'd like to know how many shares WEGs associates might have?

Just how many existing PLV shares right now would go with a takeover?
Would a 'no' vote be the catalyst for a big immediate move?

Is this the classic: bird in the hand or two in the bush scenario?
