My first thought today was capital raising.
Celtic will be getting nervous if not it's parent company.
Or I think your point about Celtic is likely.
On your....
"Existing infrastructure capacity". To me that can only mean one thing.
They will truck from Kabwe to Ermelo by road were CCC's wash plant is (And sidings). From there rail to Richard's bay. Kwazulu-natal where CCC's coal is off loaded.
Google direction Kabwe and Richards bay. Then add Ermelo. (very interesting)
Shortest rout is through Zambumbia. (If allowed)
That's 1937km's from Kabwe to Ermelo by road.
Then 450km to port.
If not. Add 400km.
Any fantasy about capacity restraints at a port is ridiculous. They will never be able to get enough to port to challenge any port. (Going off the Geo report.)
JHB's list of stations and different sidings ,company's, private lines etc, to do this by rail is ridiculous.
That's why I think road.
Think about it. CCC's mine is done and dusted. Next doors block, a hefty royalty will have to be paid to get already marginal coal.
Tie KAB into this via the yard and siding and you have additional funding.
You can even see how they would sell it.
Cheers Volcano.
You would have to give a special mention to JHB and Sparkler.
They are way beyond my meager Tradie Capacity.
