guys its not all that unusual. It looks like a straight forward block trade run through the market (as opposed to a private off market transfer) after hours. Basically some insider/s with decent sized holdings have decided to sell. Given the volume the buyers no doubt argued for a reasonable discount from the sellers. Usual market practice on the basis that if the sellers wishes to sell the same volume on market it would take much longer and no doubt supress the price through such an overhang. These deals are usually negotiated a week or so in advance of the block trade so I guess the trade price would have been struck before the recent announcement that saw the price spike further up into the high 8s. I would be suprised if the CEO is included in the trasnfer. Its pure speculation as to why sellers chose to sell, different parties need cash for different reasons all the time, new house/car/boat, pay off debt, divorce etc etc there is no value in trying to speculate. The share price has run pretty strongly of late so perhaps some want to take some money off the table. They key though is to look forward in the market and on current pricing I think there is a good chance of strong further gains. On my numbers given recent announcement EPS for FY13 should come in at around .0084 (perhaps higher given MRI contribution to be made from November 2012) and I think this smaller faster growing company should be on a PER of 12.5 so by end of FY13 I think this should be trading towards 11 cents. Just my opinion.
