ronsterm.....spot on....that is also why I am a bit suss

I either get an email or snail mail at least fortnightly wanting me to go solar
but apparently our high energy bills are the result of these solar rebates, and scams

when they first came out, I had quotes ranging from $7000 to $15000 after the govnut rebates...
then at the same time, my friend got his for $2400, interest free over 24 months.....and he has not had to pay any electricity bills since then....

his electricity bill prior to the deal was around $50 pm...
so he paid $100 pm on the basis, it will last forever...

however if he changes his electricity provider, the deal is off...interesting...
so he needs to stay with them
electricity charges in nsw have increased at least 50% in that period....
so I figure he needs to stay on that system for at least 3 years before he breaks even....
I do not believe that offer is set in stone for life...
    I could be wrong...
but he believes its his almost first and only ever win, in life's lottery....so her is happy
