gurame gas shows over 186m gross pay, page-3

At the time of section TD, 186m of gross pay was encountered. The Baong Sands are sandwiched between Baong Shales at the top and bottom. MEO called section TD, as permeability must have fallen, hence indicating the sands were transitioning to shales.

Pre-drill, MEO described the entire sequence (gross reservoir interval) as:

"The well is being drilled approximately 375m updip of the highest known oil recovery from the Baong Sandstone and as such is expected to intersect the gas cap within a 235m thick gross reservoir interval."

I'd say that based on what has been announced, if we allow for a couple of metres at top and bottom because of shale, this has pretty much come in as prognosed.

On this basis, at P50, MEO are likely to have "appraised" ~ 320bcf of gas.
