If the mining permits and conventions were already in the hands of SDL then i think we would be playing a very different game right now....this would have shifted the power back into SDL's court and opened the game up to the market to see what we are really worth...and possibility a superior offer or proposal...
I believe that the permits/conventions have been intentionally delayed and then slotted into the timetable to suit Howlong which then limits any opportunity for a counter bid to come forward...it has been a closed game and shop...and the power has been kept hovering with Howlong....
Management are going to profit big time either way and unfortunately there passion to see this thru to production would IMO be outwayed by their short term financial benefits....
I am a fence sitter at the moment in terms of the NO or Yes vote but I am very happy to see the SP continue to build good momentum and great support, we on the cusp of a move up to 40cents...
A yes vote may be obviously choice and would appear to be less risky but a no vote is not necessarily a bad thing, and may not result in the drop in the SP as all those scaremongers will have you believe. However, the no vote must follow closely with a good plan b. But nobody knows that the Plan b is...management have been working on the B plan..just have a look at the last presentation and the Financing options..they have put some serious work into it.
CBD and NDRC are very supportive of the project, and they can see this project will make billions of dollars of profit and employee a lot of Chinese people..I think their support will come with or without Howlong, who are in effect just inexperienced middle men....so IMO Funding the project thru CBD or CBD agent without Howlong might still be a real possibility if needed..
