Thanks for the replies and options I went and had a look at a secondhand 2010 Husky tc250...lovely bike but I must be way way out of touch the engine sounded like it was full of metal all banging/crashing/rubbing/whirring together ....such a great racket came from it..never heard the like and it only had 40 hours up and still on the same rubber it was bought with.
Can anyone confirm these engines (not exhaust note) make so much truly horrible noise as normal?? these things do not sound anything like a XR, DR,TT, XT engine at idle. Crazy stuff it's got a 13.1 compression ratio (might have something to do with it), way high performance 4st engine the like I have never heard in real life before.
I probably need to pull myself back toward my original plan of slow and dumpy will do the job...but after sitting on this bike not sure i can lol
