I garther from Julia-rs failure to deny that the $5k was deposited into her bank account was that a gift or income related. If income related it should have been declared as income on her income statement. Maybe the tax office should have a look at this.?
Also all that money spent by Thompson on ladies eating out etc etc - if it was legitimate Fringe Benefits Tax comes into play - payable by the HSU.
Its about time the ATO had a look into this mess as well - they sure as hell would if the average person on the street was up to these types of activities.
