The issue is if there are blowouts to LNG projects - which in turn decreases the return , then that will make future LNG projects in ASIA less likely. The other issue is currently these projects are viable due to the high LNG prices out of ASIA, if the USA starts supplying has to ASIA through their own LN projects this will impact future prices making any LNG projects in Australia less likely.
The above doesnt impact my thoughts on BPt , it simply means I apply a further discount to successful shale development.
