fents - i've seen 8, 10, 12% discount rates used for mining scoping studies, usually something around there. You can google "mining scoping study npv" and a few reports will come up (full reports, mind you, not press releases).

At 8%, the cashflow is ~$320m/year or $8Bn total.

At 12%, the cashflow is ~$435m/year or $10.9Bn total.

Saw a report in the melton weekly, nothing more than that. That's because these scoping studies are very early on, so you probably won't get national coverage until things get closer (mining license, BFS/PFS etc).
