I have to admit to being a huge fan of American music. Much as I love English Rock bands, I just love the damaged/eccentric USA country styles going back to Hank Williams, Johnny Cash, Gram Parsons and then it just goes everywhere - Jimi Hendrix, Leon Russell, Doug Kershaw too many to name, but not forgetting Bob Dylan. And include Neil Young et al.

Meme, when you say you haven't spent much time listening to US songwriters, if you think about it, you must have. Or else you have a lot to look forward to.

And cos there are so many of them there is always something new. I just discovered this band. Check em out.
