Came from someone who knows.
A truck driver who delivered cement when they capped all the exploratory wells an American company drilled way back.
Those Geos gave him all the info.
Also said there was a huge amount of gas there.

Haven't bothered to try to chase up company details but the truckie told us this years ago before CSG was even an issue up here.

By the way Texter you gave my sons a real laugh quoting Professor Cole from USQ. They are engineers who have studied there or finishing there degrees.Never heard of him.
Must be a real bigwig up there.

My eldest son is working as a geotechnical engineer and doing his masters through USQ. When I said I thought the good Prof might be from the business school he cracked up.
The only faculty that could never balance a budget and ran up big deficits.

I also noticed when I searched the Toowoomba Chronicle for articles on USQ AND CSG there were positive articles also published but I guess they didn't suit your agenda.
