"The majority of aussies" probably would like to bring back public hanging if a poll was run with the right words and by the "Right" people! That would not make that wish a morally valid one. It would be a sad fact if it were true that the white australia policy (do you know exactly what it is?) was backed by the majority of the aussies of 2005! We've moved FORWARD from the 60s and 70s. The fact that some people want to go back there does not mean that this, too would be a good thing. Rejecting multiculturalism is like rejecting the fact that Earth is round. You can reject it all you like but it's a fact; it's there; it's existant and it is NATURALLY good. Just like multiculturalism. It is here, it is a fact and it has been proven to be of great benefit to al countries that embrace it. It provides a wide cross-fertilization of ideas, views and perspectives. Of beliefs and attitudes, of skills in all areas. Narrow-minded bigots want everything to run in their own way only, have the whole country believe in what they alone believe, think, dress, eat and sh it whatever they, alone, too. This makes for a very poor country. A country which will never grow up intellectually, morally, psychologically. Views that multiculturalism is wrong are based on facile, purile and bigotted IQ tests that mean to do nothing else but to denigrade other dissimilar people. "Blacks have a lower IQ than whites" so all blacks are banned from associating with whites? Tell Mandella that. Tell that Chinese doctor who discovered cardiac surgery methods beyond the comprehension of other white men. According to you, monoculturalists, Neither of them would be allowed to live here. Who'd lose? NOTE: WE ALREADY HAVE BLACKS IN THIS COUNTRY. WE, THE WHITES ARE THE FOREIGN INTRUDERS HERE! The Earth is round and it's a fact. Live with it. Multiculturalism is good and it's here.
