At a family gathering recently we (husbands family and ours) were deciding what we would do for Christmas this year. Each of us were designated certain dishes to bring. I think I got out of it pretty lightly as we have to fly down. Top of the menu was 2 items we couldn't do without, homemade mayo, your recipe and homemade tomato sauce (using the ezysauce recipe). I have been assigned both as they are relatively easily transportable.

Poignant choices as my mother-in-law, now passed on, was a prolific cook and we always went home with bottles of mayo and sauce after a visit. We raise a glass every Christmas day in her memory, surrounded by the 24 sets of frog salt and pepper shakers she loved to collect. An intersting table decoration, but she would have loved it.
