We had one installed this morning - took him 25 minutes.
I received a small brochure but it doesn't tell me what I wanted to know - when do the differential rates apply? The installer told me that they were told that their job is to install the meters, not to give out information.
Also no current prices shown but I understand that - they'd be into a reprint every few months.
The greatest concern of the installer was his job security. They put an aerial there for reading the meter remotely down the track, so even the meter readers are doomed. He did tell me that those that refused to have them get charged up front when they eventually have to go back and install as it's now the law.
