I don't usually post but I have to point out that whilst the ARUP deal is 0 interest it comes at a 11% premium for issue of shares.
The deal doesnot make sense if funding is in the pipeline. If it is a prerequiste to another deal , then surely that it is meeting a condition for another deal is announceable.
If there is another deal shortly to be done, why would you not conclude all deals in the same trading halt period.
If I was Monash and about to put my money in , would I want a 2.5million over hang on the registry. ARUP is an engineering firm , not a capital fund. From that it would be easy to conclude hey will exit as soon as possible to get the cash.
I get betting that the management of ECT will do the smart thing , I keep losing the bet.
I wanted to put Sentiment at confused but hopeful. I think HC needs to widen its categories
