Extract from CEO address on 16Nov:
"As previously advised, on the back of our recent positive immune monitoring data, we plan to initiate exploratory trials of CVac in other cancer types that overexpress mucin 1. Pending appropriate funding, we plan to commence those programs in about the second calendar quarter of 2013. We have done significant feasibility work and will concentrate on indications of high unmet medical need and a favorable competitive environment, as we have done with our ovarian cancer program." END QUOTE

Ray to me the above extract from the recent CEO address implies that early in the new year action will be taken to secure funding to at least cover the near term work of trials for other cancer types. It does not appear to involve partnerships/joint venture as the CEO in the same address said they had spoken to several Pharma , Biotechs and that is part of the LONGER term strategy.

So what do I think might happen? A placement to sophisticated investors and/or capital raising specifically aimed at the new trials. It would be good if any placement was to a big Pharma. If that is what they are contemplating they need to get a move on and promote the sp up otherwise existing shareholders and past participants in capital raisings will be very annoyed at any potential low priced dilution.

What do I think could be the catalyst for a re-rating of the stock? Just my speculation but if they proceed to trial for other cancers they must imo be very confident in their product otherwise they would be fools to expand the scope before even can003 is completed.. As you have said Ray I dont believe the distinguished people at Prima are fools so I will be assuming that they know they are on a winner. I am also assuming they will be able to come up with a prospectus or scoping document for other cancers that will identify the potential size of market share they would hope to achieve in those areas. If the scope is massive the sp may take off on such news. Note that Matthew Lehman says in the extract above that significant feasibility work has already been done.

Exciting times imo in the coming months but not without uncertainties lol. Its amazing how time flies so these new proposed developments may soon be upon us. All the above other than the extract from Matthew Lehman is just conjecture and speculation on my part and may be way off the mark. Always DYOR and seek advice from those licensed to do so..
