The bouncer claims he was punched in the stomach which means there would be little if any sign of bruising on Hookes knuckles.

Also means little cahnce of bruising on the bouncers to prove he was hit

There is evidence though from bouncers, independent witnesses and some of Hookes group that Hookes would not let the situation go, one cricketer even gave evidence Hookes told him to F off when he tried to get Hookes to walk away.


ANd Yes Dave I did do part time work bouncing on and off for about 3 years in the late 80's
