Gillard is gone but I cannot feel anything but sadness when I reflect on a system that allowed a person of her calibre into such high office. There were many hints along the way and now this. Was she really the best Labor had to offer after Rudd.
For a lawyer she turned her nose up at authority and took liberties with the Australian people. How can somebody so comfortable with telling a lie be the Prime minister of Australia.
There will be no carbon tax under a government I lead. That was a hint of more to come.
