mistyrains i was the poster and said "If we were totally honest.. if employees were paid on their productivity how many would get a pay cut? I would guess 80%."
As I said in one of my posts..i visit small to medium businesses every day and speak to the owners..
many do not have an income...yet keep paying staff..they are between a rock and a hard place... So the end result will be more lay offs...
and even this thread connects with what i said...
as i said 2 sets of rules...
if a contractor that cuts lawns is sick and doesnt do the job..no pay... if an employee is sick ..he still gets paid... so the boss still pays the employee yet receives no income as no job done..and the boss takes the risk etc...
Same as the coal workers...as coal had risen they wanted pay rises etc...now coal has fallen will they accept pay cuts??????
