Where does it say it was a used motor?
Strange though to have an electric motor not perform to spec they normally are well over engineered, and with a ball mill one would think it would not be too hard to match it up with the correct sized motor and gear box.
I am no electrician but wonder if its lack of voltage to the motor, causing the problem ??? Be good to have an electrician's view point.
It looks like punters just have said enough is enough and this is the last straw and have voted with their mouse click -sold.
