Wassup loves Icehouse but played a so-so track from 1987 (sorry mate lol).
If there's one thing I've learned it's that bands usually provide their best early on. Examples include The Models who were fabulous before James Freud joined them and started singing about Barbados. Midnight Oil were the best until they started on about indigenous rights and corporate domination. INXS did their best stuff early before they wrote for the US market.
But by far the biggest factor was the 80's. If a band started in 1977, their early stuff would be great and the rest garbage.
Anyway Icehouse's best album was their first as the band The Flowers. The album was called Icehouse. They had to change their name because an American band was also called The Flowers. This track is from that album....Sister
