Got to say this, alajupur, you play the market, then never spend more than you can afford, do i feel sorry for you , NO, do i have some sympathy YES. If you are going to invest in the market and your funds are limited then put in a stop loss with your broker, but be aware there are people out there who prey on other people who lose their nerve. What SIR has is a totally new mineral province, there will be outstanding results to come, BUT there will also be disapointments. I will try and describe the last 46 years in nickel mining and there have been many ups and downs in the industry. Nickel was first discovered in WA in 1965, The first mine opened was the Silver Lake Shaft in 1966, from there Durkin shaft was opened, followed by the Otter Decline, and then many more mines from there. There have been a few occasions when the price of nickel was so low that it resulted in downsizing and retrenchments. Kambalda is still going to this day and they are still finding more nickel. WMC the owner went from a tiny company who were just holding their own to a very powerful mining house that at one time dominated the mining industry in Australia. Some people on this thread have belittled MC. I have met the man once, have spoken to him on the phone a couple of times over the last 20 years, if he passed me in the street he wouldnt know me from a slice of bread, but i will say this, there is no bullshit about the man, from mutual friends and aquaintences they all say the same thing MC is as honest as the day is long. He doesnt need to bullshit, he is a genuine oldfashioned prospector with those long forgotten values in todays society. While i am rambling on i will give you all some food for thought, given a little bit more of good news, SIR will be in the ASX 300 in January and there will be a few people investing in SIR in their Superfund including myself.
