A W.A. mining exec and his wife had their assets frozen today by the Australian Tax Office because they have not paid tax for years and owe $50 million dollars in tax.
At least weekly I have to listen to company and business proprietors giggling like school kids about how they avoid paying taxes and duty. Generally, these are the types that pay as little as possible and begrudge every employment condition. They will generally never be successful because of their penny pinching miserly behaviour.
There are some great and very successful employers about and strangely enough, they tend to pay more than the average and provide top conditions and you'll more than likely see a 'fair use' policy on workplace computers. Good employees tend to gravitate towards these companies and businesses.
