I was a born again Christian for a few years.

I even went on a 30 day fast at the end.

And I mean a fast, nothing but water.

That means I was serious.

But as much as I love the Jesus story, and I still believe in his principles, I don't believe in his god-hood.

If I am to be condemned then it is justified atheism.

Will I suffer for all eternity. Perhaps.

But a hypocrite I'm not.

You can only be true to your sincere beliefs.

I can't pretend to believe something I don't
