Good to hear from you,tell us more.
What was life like working there ?
It doesn't seem a very big open cut,would "Wilga"fit into a hole that big ?
How does the depth compare with the "Wilga"drill holes ?
Did most of the uranium go to the Yanks ?

Must of had a few Mexicans from south of the border working
there as I was told they won three flags in the Aussie Rules comp.in The Isa.

The colours in the walls are magnificent and the reflection on the still water is great.
Its 3 years since I was there and I think they have pulled the sign down at the Hw.as well.

A lot of Grey Nomads use the old site as an over night
stop but don't realize the open cut is just along the track.
You will never get so close to a uranium mine.
