I don't understand your mirth Rosco. Charts can be very helpful.Ignore them at your peril imo.

I combine TA with FA, but with greater emphasis in the fundamentals as opposed to the technical side.

Charts are, put purely and simply, a record of price movement and volume. A quick look at the TNG chart tells new people such as F that the SP has had a big jump on high turnover followed by a fall, but not quite to pre-1st ann levels. F asks why, but would be thinking mainly of resistance and support levels I would believe. There is good fundamental reason for looking for such things.

However, and whether you like it or not, traders with chart beliefs are going to influence the SP. FA will not be a factor. It will be pure TA. Sit back and watch. The only breakout from chart trends and predictions will come from either very good or bad company news. That's how I see it.
