Bit disappointed in that post R2R, regardless I'll ignore all the antagonistic side and just focus on the productive side of your post.
The original question addressed the 'why' behind the turn dates on Daves chart. Again I don't know the why if I did I wouldn't have asked the question. If they were fib dates then I can place cycles within cycles and work that to volume and bar analysis. I don't have that ability with Astro, the models that I use don't fit Daves chart. Sure I can add many other forms of analysis to support Astro, but none of that does anything to address the original question of why? Which I might add, none of your posts have achieved either. I don't need a novel for the answer, just a starting point is fine.
As for starting with time, all cycles start from an event, volume reflects the importance of that event.
