Completely right BrookeCE. I'm all for getting different perspectives because its easy to miss something without other views and it does us no good whatsoever to ignore important details just because we don't like them. I've just never considered "making stuff up" an angle.

I can look at a basic Ford hatchback a hundred times and still not notice some details that may have stood out to other observers from their viewing angle. But when one of the other observers starts claiming to that the blue hatchback was actually red, that it had a techtronic gearbox and a little horsie badge on the back I know that the discrepancies can't be explained by viewing angle.

First I ask questions to check to see if indeed we are viewing the same object. If we are then I ask myself why somebody would bother trying to convince me that blue is red, or 6/8 is 8/8, or 1 relapse is 0 relapses, or a 3 drug combo is a 2 drug combo (for example).

If it looks like a duck and it quacks like a duck then the odds are that it is a duck. worthind will no doubt come and tell us that a duck is sort of like a chicken and a chicken tastes like crocodile so the quacking sounds probably came from a snake, then change the subject.
