Hi all, I have been following this thread quite closely. A close friend of mine is quite adament that the government will not change and BN should stay in power. He is a successful businessman. This eases my fears about the political risk that surrounds this stock. As a resident of Kuantan, he understands that the financial implication for the region is huge and will give many kampung people jobs and security.
Additionally it is in Malaysia's interests to promote international investment and growth. BN is quite supportive of the project, and if it goes down well will cement its (supposed)strong leadership.
Judging from the SP, there may be an announcement today :)
