spruik...I think its great that they are pushing ahead with mining. The reality is that someone should be extracting the resource. The M&DC case will eventually decide who owns what and what theys should have paid for it in which case it will/can be settled by an exchange of cheques and tenements. The intrinsic value of the resource will not change, only the distribution of entitlements to its value will. Pretty simple stuff. Its only if there is waste or inefficient mining in the meantime which ultimatey destroys value for everybody that we need to be alert to.
