Agree with lukeben. Most holders don't want IG on the board for their oil and gas experience. They are wanted for their ability to raise funds especially when the main gripe is with the convertible funding.
They wanted the 2 Franks gone and now they are.
One thing the ann highlights is that every promise IG has made is subject to them being on the board. Which is kind of fair enough. Sentences ending in "..if elected" and "...when appointed".
The problem with that is it requires a leap of faith. Now the water is also muddied that possibly RBS aren't in the loop. So we need to vote them in then trust they can deliver.
I'd have thought deliver first, then be assured the votes. And if by some chance you aren't elected then you've still benefited as a shareholder even though not as board members.
