the well has poor flow issues, so a tubing is very relevant, and gas lift is not unusual in the oil sections of the EFS, less so in the gas condensate window this early on
15% - 40% of frac fluids are usually are returned,, so 17% is fine
flow rates are where i expected them to be from where they started..
imho a tubing will bring a higher flow rate back and a more stabilised flow.
expect declines also..
where they went wrong imho was to compare this region to the better regions and ignored the near by wells performances. if they had given the records of the closer wells in their presentations also i would have been happier, but my due diligence showed up thiongs that concerned me
this well is on par, or in some cases, its lower than the near by well perfomances.
strike acreages to the north of these, are in my view better suited for a well, but they have a permit for a twin well near by, if it was me, i would not drill bing 2 next but look at the oilier acres up north. but then again maybe they are also not so desirable?
i can understand the frustration for strike shareholders here, but it was never in good turf imho,
we have seen chesapeake turn 300 bopd regions into 1300 bopd results, and then mirrored by competitors in the western regions of the efs..
maybe strike can use that tech in their next wells? or maybe they did??
it frustrates me that many aussie oilers are going into the eastern sections of the efs where there are poor completion records that surely would sent huge warning signals to them?
