Let's try not to lose focus on the big picture here.
Stage 1 - low cost project, high copper grade, high recovery. Simple open pit, traditional flotation to recover copper. Trial mining permit received and waiting for full regulatory approval by end 2013.
They say construction of the plant can start mid 2013.

Now a good Corp Finance guy could easily get funding for this. If I owned as many shares as MW or TP, you would bet your life I will want to get AVB share price up and make sure I have sufficient $ for the going concern of the company. So to me the funding talks are in process. They just can't announce anything until something is signed.

I await in anticipation.
