    Blackrock have been very vocal against the gold mining industry on the whole, and ARE selling out of stocks as they see fit.

    Read the following:

    Blackrock tells lagging gold miners - SHOW US THE MONEY

    There are many more articles regarding Blackrocks dislike of gold stocks out there with a google search.

    I guess they have to blame someone for the underperformance of their fund.

    A fund which is caught in a typical vicuous cycle -

    Goes like this;

    --> funds enter resource stocks as commod prices start making new highs. Even start speculating in the sector in co's like AMX during early exploration
    --> years down the track stocks in the portfolio start to come off their peaks (largely following commod prices tappering off and/or co's starting the thankless task of infill drilling for PFS and BFS)
    --> The funds annual returns start looking weak
    --> later stage investors in the fund start pulling out of the fund as they lose money
    --> redemption selling takes place
    --> the stock the fund is selling to pay the redeemers goes even further down (especially illiquid ones like amx, get hammered , spurred on even further by predatory algorithms)
    --> even longer term investors in the fund now want their money back (whats left of it)
    --> a second much larger wave of redemption selling occurs
    --> stocks in the portfolio that have been sold are now crushed under the weight of huge redemption selling.

    This is where we are now at with AMX.....

    But then there is the start of a new cycle:

    --> the selling fund WILL run out of stock
    --> new funds will enter (already evident in AMX ..acorn, taurus, sprott...etc..)
    --> They won't push the price until the selling fund has finished selling (why push ? when you can soak ?)
    --> When the seller has run out of stock ,they will continue to buy until their discounted valuation is reached (which is much higher than 29c for AMX, probably around $1.30 mark)
    --> Retail investors see the gains/trend and jump on board , pushing the stock even higher (overshooting to the upside)(we've already seen this once for AMX at $3.40 and ev/res of $600/oz )

    AMX is neither special nor exceptional in its current situation . The fund selling we are witnessing daily over the last 18 months is nothing new or exceptional either.

    What IS exceptional ,is your opportunity to take advantage of whats going, and whether you choose to follow a forced seller out the door at 2 year lows or take advantage of their loss.

    This is the time for accumulation , plain and simple. Buy low , sell high.

    Sure it can always go lower .I don't know how many funds may be selling or how many shares they have left . But what we DO know ,is that someone, probably another fund with alot of $$ is buying, and therefor the next part of the cycle is already underway.

    Anything under $1 is a value buy. Anything under 50c is a no brainer . Anything under 35c could almost be classed as stealing ! Under 30c ? Lord have mercy !!
