"Feed-in-Tariff in Japan" -- recent renewable energy policy and early results
( There is no FiT for micro-CHP however this enables the Solar Power to be utilised on the grid rather than consumed)
    Link: http://lnkd.in/KS3EJm
    From Page 8
    "What is “double generation?”
    • Double generation refers to generating power by solar PV AND other power generators for residential homes. Generators are primarily two types: - Gas engine CHP (product name: Ecowill) - Fuel cell CHP (product name: Enefarm)
    • Power generated by these generators is consumed first; therefore, more power from solar PV is sold than when there is no other generator.
    • No FIT on power generated by CHP"

    from Page 15
"Installed Capacity after the FIT was implemented
    • 97% is solar PV
    • No geothermal installed"

Therefore even with NO FiT for micro-CHP the combination with Solar is a beneficial for uptake.

As a result it appears that Germany and Netherlands are indeed Bluegen's best markets currently with the UK yet to show full potential.

( We also await any response and national commitment as a result of DOHA, and it looks like we have to wait till 2015 for any other nation group to take decisve action
    http://reneweconomy.com.au/2012/doha-dispatches-carbon-market-collapse-creates-another-fine-mess-21440)

In the meantime Germany and EU will continue to forge ahead, and given the R&D development time of a successful micro-CHP fuel cell system to market of 10 years plus, and several 100 million $ or so CFU is a gem awaiting appreciation.

IMHO Germany is developing an unassailable lead in this power/industrial revolution.

In another report Ernst and Young say that "China is the best opportunity for Renewable Energy Projects"

Indeed I think futher validation of CFU's strategic move to outsource manufacture of fuel cell componentry.

    Cheers
