Butcherboy, We have different opinions about whether the science is now or could ever be 'in'. I will not try to change your belief.
My point here is that a debate is underway. That we are having this exchange shows that there are different points of view. That Kyoto was not extended at Doha despite some impassioned pleading shows that the disagreement is worldwide.
Politics and AGW are now fully interwoven.
In light of widespread disagreement it is inappropriate for one side of the argument to be taught to all of our children through instruments of the state. Some parents have different views to you, should their children be taught your view against their parents will?
Children should be left out of this and not subject to the teacher bullying so well illustrated by Pink Floyd.
