The lady's death is of course horrible and unfortunate but there can be no denying it was a response disproportionate to the actual prank.
If I get a parking ticket, does that make it OK or understandable to kill a few parking cops? Some might think so but the vast majority would think it to be a disproportionate response.
We shouldn't have to tiptoe around people just in case some are offended or react in unforseen or violent ways.
If we do; freedom of speech goes by the wayside IMO.
