the problem with the board is that is so far removed from the ops and the public profile of the company, which is primarily through tim and matt

the directors dont seem to own a solitary share in the company, one owns 10 shares all up..

in the last annual report, alex (deceased) was paid the most, as a director, $99 k

matt, was paid the most in the executive pool, he is not a director and highly qualified and imho warrants the $214 k as a geologist

the 3 remaining directors got $13 k $13k and $24k

the company secretary got a fortune,, $37k

sabre in all spent $544 k on salaries

imho the sabre outfit is not making a killing being employed by sabre.. its paying the critical people highly, but imho is by no means paying anything like what these guys could potentially earn in other positions.

what sabre does well is in keeping costs down, excessively so..

i have been in this share for a long time and have no idea who the directors are, but imho the company has 3 major assets, matt, kaskara and the new permit with guchab.

the latest acquisition in tim running the show is of course being strongly critiqued, whether it turns out to be fair or not will be determined by how tim takes sabre through these tough months as ops are hindered by poor drillers and equipment issues. but there are signs that they are doing everything within their means to overcome and permanently remedy the issue.

looking forward to what they report on in the near term and imho Q1 2013 will be worth waiting for.
