re: Ann: Siana mine site - new production for... I'm no expert either but they announced on 4th October 2011 that due to the higher gold price, that they could extend the life of the open pit. I believe orginally underground was supposed to kick in around 2016 where open pit trailed off. I assume that quote I posted above indicated that this recent study was based on that old plan.

That was the way I read it, but it does seem strange that they would base it on the old plan - so I'm not 100% sure.
