I disagree. A lot of retail investors still follow research at their brokerage firms. When more brokers are researching certain stocks interest is often maintained by doing so.
An increasing number of broker reports have been published on the RIA website, a number have been done by big names in the brokerage world.
I'm eagerly awaiting for an update on RIA's current developments, but not holding my breath so close to Xmas.
