I would agree with every thing you said. Unfortunately the forces that move the market only seem to be interested in companies that are producing cash flows. Buyers are not currently interested in a company's 'potentials'.
I doubt whether management can do much to influence the sp until there is change in the overal market sentiment.
The sp reflects the market, not FNT.
