I have no issue with free speech I've always said protesters have a right to protest but not to obstruct. Obstruction, threats and intimidation is where the line is drawn. Not only is this illegal but it concerns me as a member of the public that these behaviors have been observed.

I have no problem with anyone's profession. Ill also point out that questions posted by me have not been answered.

    Firstly Welcome Aidan,

Information only needs to be disclosed if a reasonable person would expect the information to have a material effect on the price or value of the entity's securities. Under s 677 of the Corporations Act, that depends on whether the information would be likely to influence persons who commonly invest in securities in deciding whether to trade.

Anyone who does commonly invest in oil and gas understand the risk within the industry, your assumption that a social movement has impacted productivity may not be correct as companies have alternative work arrangements or work around in such cases. I'll like to point out that the blockade actually affects suppliers of large and small business which are from the local area.

I don't think PH was accusing Lismore council or AEC of anything, it was the statements provided to support the voting that was the issue. Both the APPEA and ltg were asked for statements for and against in which their information was not "vetted". The question was also prepared for the council by Southern Cross University senior lecturer David Lloyd which as a shareholder I do question the independence but as a market research i could have produced the same result with a 87%+ result for CSG.

Do shareholders rely on north coast media for detail of investment risk? of course not APN is a listed company which are also concerned about increase readership for commercial gain in which IMO anti-csg articles are a free kick for them.

Now can i pose a few questions about risks for social movements....?

    - Does this social movement consider the suppliers and local companies they are affecting while they blockade a legal operation that has consent of the landowner?
    - Do they consider the waste of police resources and rescue personal? which cost the taxpayer money and could have been used for more productive measures?
    - Do they consider the risk they impose on themselves and staff of companies just doing their job?
    - Do they consider the impacts of rising gas prices on the State of NSW?

Now I can go on forever but who can I rely on to disclose the details of this social movement risk?
